Enterprise Grid is our new plan for organizations that run work across various teams with strict requirements on identity access, process control, automation, and governance. It bundles everything we shipped this week for enterprise customers into a single plan, on top of everything in Business.

Who it's for

Enterprise Grid fits organizations that need consistent work modeling across many projects, directory-driven access management, enforced approval steps, and automation maintained by their own engineers rather than a third-party vendor.

What's shipping as part of Enterprise Grid

Plane Runner

Write custom logic in JavaScript or TypeScript and run it inside your workspace. Scripts trigger on events, schedules, or workflow transitions.

For details, see the Plane Runner docs.

Scheduled Automations

Set scripts to run on a schedule and let them handle recurring work: rollups, reminders, cleanup, syncs. They run on the same engine as Plane Runner, so anything you can script, you can schedule. Configure the cadence once and stop doing the work by hand.

For details, see the Scheduled Automations docs.

Workspace-level hierarchy

Define the parent–child rules for work item types at the workspace level and enforce them across all projects. Hierarchy rules apply consistently across creation, bulk edits, and imports, so structure holds regardless of which project work lives in.

For details, see the Hierarchy docs.

Granular Access Control (GAC)

Build custom roles from reusable permission schemes, down to the individual permission. Unlike preset system roles, Granular Access Control lets you compose exactly the right level of access for any role in your organization.

For details, see the Roles and permissions docs.

LDAP and IdP group sync

Let people sign in with their directory credentials using LDAP authentication. Group sync maps identity provider groups to projects, so access is automatically provisioned and deprovisioned as directory membership changes.

For details, see the IdP group sync docs.

Custom Workflows and Approval Flows

Give each work item type its own workflow with allowed transitions. Approval flows require sign-off before selected transitions can occur. Transition conditions run Runner scripts in two modes: pre-validation blocks a transition when conditions are not met, while post-action performs follow-up work after the transition completes.

For details, see the Custom Workflows docs.
