Plane AI upgrades, workspace switcher, and more | Release v2.6.0

Access Plane AI from wherever you’re working

Plane AI is now available directly from work items, Pages, and projects. Open it from the assistant button and it already understands the context you’re in, so you can ask for help without having to explain where you are or what you’re working on.

Clarify prompts with suggested options

When Plane AI needs more information before responding, it can now ask a clarifying question and give you suggested options to choose from. Pick the one that matches what you meant instead of rewriting your prompt.

Join or create workspaces from the switcher

You can now manage more of your workspace setup without leaving the workspace switcher.

• Join a workspace you’ve been invited to directly from the switcher.
• Create a new workspace and move straight into it once it’s ready.

View more Page content on mobile

Page link blocks, horizontal tabs, and vertical tabs are now supported in the mobile editor, so Pages using these blocks carry over more consistently between desktop and mobile.

Enhancements

• Primary actions such as Add work item and the comment composer now stay above the bottom navigation bar, keeping them accessible and adding clearer press feedback.
• Longer Plane AI conversations now open faster, with older messages loading as you scroll instead of loading the full conversation upfront.
• The workspace switcher now shows your plan and role for each workspace.
• Spellcheck is now available while typing in titles and descriptions, with your device’s standard correction suggestions.

Bug fixes

• Fixed stale items, unexpected state changes after unlocking the device, and longer loading times in Catch Up.
• Fixed Page action buttons appearing over loading or error states before the Page was ready.
