What's new

Track work with new dashboard widgets

Add a smart counter for a state-wise breakdown of your work, and a smart gauge to track progress against a target. A pivot table breaks work down by two properties at once, and an intake volume by source widget shows where incoming requests are coming from.

Share views with selected teammates

Share a view with specific people, giving each of them either view-only or edit access. Control exactly who can see and who can change a shared view.

Measure views on Pages and Collections

Get a read on how Pages are being viewed and by whom. Collection analytics gives you the same visibility at the collection level, helping you understand which parts of your knowledge base are getting used. Export the data to CSV when needed.

Organize content with tabs in Pages

Organize a page into horizontal or vertical tabs instead of stacking everything in one long column. A spec, its API details, and its test plan can each sit behind their own tab.

Hide comments to keep threads clean

Admins can now hide and unhide comments on work items, Pages, and Teamspaces, with a reason attached: abuse, spam, off-topic, sensitive info, or other. Keep threads clean without deleting the comment outright.

Pick GLM 5.3 Flash in Plane AI

Choose GLM 5.3 Flash in Plane AI's model picker. Use it when you want a fast, lightweight response, or switch to other available models depending on what you're working on.

Insert a page's children or its parent into another page, and set how many levels deep to pull in. You can also link a flat set of pages and group them by creator. Overview pages stop being hand-maintained link lists that go stale the moment someone adds a page.

Edit MS-Office files directly in Pages

Open a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file attached to a Page, edit it in Microsoft Office, and have those changes sync back to the copy in Plane. If someone else is already editing the file, Plane shows you that it's in use so you don't overwrite their changes.

Reuse workflows by duplicating them

Build a workflow once and duplicate it at either the workspace or project level, instead of rebuilding it by hand for each team. Roll out a proven process in seconds.

Project-scoped releases

Create and track releases inside a project, not only at the workspace level. Move between a project's releases, filter them with PQL, and follow release progress right where the work lives. Teams that ship on their own cadence can plan and track without leaving their project.
